Your assignment:
In your 1st year assignment as a GDP Trainee, you have the opportunity to join a globally operating health technology company by being a part of the Enterprise Informatics business at Philips. Enterprise Informatics is the largest MedTech IT business in the world.
Enterprise Informatics aims to grow by transforming its portfolio to be fully cloud-based, enabling customers to augment and automate care workflows with generative and agentic AI solutions. The AI & Insights team, newly formed in 2025, generates deep business insights with AI, drives data-informed decision-making, and enhances strategic intelligence through generative and agentic AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- You’ll develop Al-powered models, predictive analytics, and automated insights that shape business strategies, transforming data into actionable intelligence for faster, smarter, and more informed decisions across the organization.
- This means understanding business needs, collecting, organizing, and interpreting data using statistical tools, programming languages, and visualization techniques.
As a GDP trainee you will receive a 2.5 years, full time employment contract with excellent labour conditions.
You're the right fit if:
- You have completed a Bachelor's or Master's study in Data Science or related study and you are available per 1st September 2025 ;
- Max 1 years of work experience straight after your graduation. Preferably you have business context knowledge in commercial, innovation or finance;
- You master technical skills such as machine learning basics, natural language processing tools, prompt engineering (working with various LLMs), AI-powered analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI) and statistical programming (preferably Python);
- You are able to read and create data models and understand the business implications;
- You need to have excellent English communication skills, both in speech and writing, to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders;
- You are a team player as you will work in cross-functional teams;
- You need to have strong analytical thinking and the ability to adapt to changing business needs;
- You need to be eager to innovate and adopt new concepts and technologies in the data domain.
