IT Services at RSM B.V. are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious student assistant to join our team for an average of 12–16 hours per week.
Tasks
This role combines first-line IT support with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. You will assist RSM B.V. staff and students (both in person and online) with access to various systems, hardware setup, system updates, support for hybrid classes and meetings, administration of service requests, maintaining manuals, and more.
As part of a small and collaborative support team, you may also occasionally assist other operational areas of the organisation, such as Reception or the Canteen during busy periods, events, or staff absences. For students interested in taking on additional hours, there may be opportunities to pick up extra shifts in these areas.
Because of the customer-facing nature of the role, you will regularly interact with visitors, students, faculty, and colleagues in both English and Dutch.
Shifts generally fall between 08:00 and 22:30, Monday to Thursday, 08:00–23:00 on Fridays, and 08:00–18:00 on Saturdays.
What are we looking for?
Most of all, we expect you to be professional. You will be interacting with staff, students, and visitors both in person and online. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, proactive, a quick learner, and enjoys providing support to others. You should be comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for your work, and contributing wherever needed.
Some requirements include:
- 2nd or 3rd year Bachelor, Pre-Master or Master student
- Fluent English; Dutch language skills are strongly preferred
- Hands-on approach to work
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Eye for detail
- Flexibility towards working hours and assignments (including occasional evening and weekend shifts)
- Available to work an average of 12–16 hours per week
- Available for at least 6 months
