About Us
To some of you KPMG probably sounds quite familiar, since we are part of the big four offices when it comes to accountancy, audit, assurance and financial advisory. Additionally, you might have passed our Rotterdam Office which is located directly across from the Central Station or any of our other 11 locations all throughout the Netherlands. But what exactly is KPMG? Our firm tackles a wide variety of things from developing ways to digitize audit, to enabling new sectors to take off, to building sustainability and resilience into economies.  Our focus is delivering innovative knowledge and technology solutions that can translate insights into action. We're focused on helping make a difference today while making the world a better place for future generations. Whether you are developing client solutions or turning Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspirations into action and making them real, the role you play at KPMG will make a mark. At the firm, we ask you to tap into your skills, expertise and passion to help organizations find sustainable solutions to the world's most pressing issues.

What we look for
Our KPMG Audit department primarily seeks students with a strong interest in accountancy and ambition of becoming a registeraccountant (RA). Important skills our auditors possess are being numerate, but also being socially adept, assertive, knowing how to deal with integrity and work accurately and in an organised way. Besides these skills, we like to see some additional key traits in our associates and interns such as being a team player, customer-oriented, engaged and interested in societal matters. However, each skillset and educational path may vary, your motivation is what is most important to us!

What we offer
If you are joining us as an Associate, we will offer you a competitive salary, profit sharing, a fixed expense allowance and a home office allowance. Additionally, you will accrue 30 holidays (on a full-time basis) and the option to buy more days or sell your holidays. At KPMG we work hybrid, i.e. a combination of working from home and working at the office and thus you will get a small budget so you can set up a fully equipped home office. Furthermore, we will provide you with either a lease car or mobility budget as well as a laptop and iPhone that you can also use privately. During your time at KPMG you will also accrue a flexible pension with no compulsory personal contribution. Lastly, we care about your personal and professional development which is why we have an extensive range of training and education programs that you can sign up for. Almost forgot to mention but of course you can count on various social activities such as team outings, sociable Friday afternoon drinks and events together with your colleagues, because ‘Together’ is one of our core values!

For interns the offerings are slightly different, feel free to browse on our website or ask the recruiter at the event.
